starcross Originally uploaded by doubleUdesign It was raining hard and I'd been hiking for quite some time when I happened upon a partially opened bunker in San Francisco's Presidio. I spent the rest of the day there waiting for the storm to pass and converted the eerie, dungeon-like space, originally used as an amunition depot in WWII, into a Chapel of Peace. Just as I was leaving, two MPs arrived on the scene and started questioning me. I was already in handcuffs when they went inside the bunker to take a look around. They returned from the inspection with quite a different attitude and let me go with appreciation for what I had done.
